All donations, dollar for dollar, are used to fight against homelessness, provide natural disaster relief, fund emergency surgery and much more for the children in our programs. All donations from AmazonSmile are credited to the Where Most Needed and will be used to better serve millions of children in extreme poverty.

How Are AmazonSmile Donations Used?

Compassion truly values your contribution and uses AmazonSmile donations to provide a variety of essential needs faced by children in poverty. Through our Where Most Needed fund, children like Rihanata from Burkina Faso receive life-saving care.

Rihanata was playing outside when she slipped and fell into her family’s cooking fire. A boiling pot of sauce poured onto her. “It was so very painful that I can hardly describe how I felt. I found myself at the hospital with bandages around my chest, arms, legs and face that had been burned.” Her local health center in Burkina Faso didn’t have the proper medical equipment, so she was transferred to the capital for an urgent surgery. With the help from people like you, the Compassion center Rihanata attends was able to arrange for her fees to be covered.

She says, “the doctors said that I’d be healed, and I believe that it was God who healed me.” Because of your support to Compassion International, Rihanata has seen recovery and healing!

Your donations are reserved into a general fund that can be used to provide for a variety of essential needs faced by children in poverty.

Donations to Compassion's Where Most Needed fund provide not only essentials and life-saving care, but resources necessary to accomplish our mission – including personnel, materials, buildings, and equipment. Your tax-deductible donation is stewarded by Compassion to provide for children around the world in immediate need.

Clean water for drinking and showering, healthy food for those in poverty

HEALTH CARE NEEDS

Provides medical visits, vaccines, and counseling for children who have experienced trauma
